The Details
    For both activities, the American Odyssey Staff will meet and pick up the participants at the designated Airport on the Arrival Dates and will return them to the Airport in time to check in on the designated Departure Dates.  All travel to and from the experience(s) is the responsibility of the Participant and is not covered by the tuition fees.

  •     If a participant chooses to do both experiences, AO will cover the transportation, meals, and accommodations between the experiences. 
  • Further, if the participant chooses to join AO for both activities, there is a $200 deduction on the Tuition.   
  • Example: If a participant chooses to do the Yosemite experience and the Tetons - Yellowstone experience, American Odyssey will transport the participant from San Francisco, CA (SFO) through to departure at Jackson Hole, WY (JAC). 
  • The price will be discounted $200 from $1990 for both activities to $1790.

Tuition:  $995 per activity. 
Discount $200 if you choose to participate in both activities.
Tuition is $1790 for participating in Both Activities.

NC Teaching Fellows
Your Scholarship pays $200 of your Tuition for one of these activities.
Teaching Fellows Tuition is $795 for one activity - $1590 for both.

Initial Deposit of $500 is due within 2 weeks of acceptance.

Second payment is due within 30 days of first payment.

All program fees are due not later than May 1, 2009.

This price is All Inclusive except for Personal Spending Money, several meals, and                    transportation to and from the activities.

There will be a meeting of all participants prior to the experience after the Collegiate               Spring Break. The exact date will be determined and participants will be notified.

NO PREVIOUS CAMPING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

College Credit may be available for this trip. Check with your advisor.

RECRUITMENT DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE.  Ask for Details.

WHAT TO BRING is pretty simple.  Everything must be packed in your Backpack.

Sleeping bag and pad, Backpack, Water Bottles, Hydration System, Two changes of Clothes. Swim Suit, Headlamp, Pack Towel, Bath Towel, Hiking Boots or Trail Runners, Toiletries.   Pack only for one week.   Remember, LESS IS MORE!!!!   There will be 1 laundry stop during the trip. An Equipment List will be sent to all participants. All Group Camping Gear is provided.  All Participants receive an AO long sleeved T-Shirt.
